Description
English: The city of Münster (Westphalia) as seen by Remius Hogenberg in 1570, looking from the south-west onto the city. Big churches seen on the picture (from left to right): Liebfrauenkirche (Überwasserkirche), St. Pauls-Cathedral (in the center), Lambertikirche, Ludgerikirche. In the center in front of the cathedral the "Neuwerk" as part of the citywall where the river Aa crosses the city border.
