Summary
editDescriptionMuerte a la mexicana (ornaments).jpg |
English: These two ornaments represent death in a very mexican way. The first one is a "mariachi" playing the guitar, the second one is a woman dressed in very traditional mexican costumes. usually in Mexico the "ofrendas" used to venerate death show different representations of it as if they were alive. For example: skeletons playing sports or partying or doing something that people who are alive do. These is how mexicans link death with life and on November 1st and 2nd give the souls of the death ones a chance to remember who they were. |
