English: Pochola Silva como directora de “Rumbo al infierno”, la primera murga íntegramente de mujeres que participó en el Carnaval oficial y de la cual se tiene registro en la historia. Creada a finales de los años 50 en Las Piedras, Uruguay. En un tiempo en donde el rol de la mujer estaba limitado a los quehaceres domésticos, estas muchachas decidieron crear una murga y salir en carnaval atravesando un sin fin de prejuicios y limitaciones que acarreaba semejante rebeldía. |
