Español: Museo Arqueológico Provincial de Cádiz. Mosaico del Tritón y el Delfín. Parte de un mosaico mayor, compuesto por teselas bicolores de pequeño tamaño asentadas sobre una base de mortero de cal (opus caementicium). Sobre un fondo blanco se destaca dos figuras negras, con las líneas interiores de dibujo en blanco. La primera figura representa un tritón con el torso desnudo, vuelto hacia su derecha. La cabeza, con barba de abundantes mechones y tocada con una corona de plantas marinas o corales, se gira hacia su izquierda. El brazo derecho se eleva por encima del hombro para sujetar una bucina. Con el brazo izquierda rodea y sujeta con firmeza un delfín de cuerpo sinuoso.
Iconografía Parte del fondo: Delfín; Todo el fondo: Tritón; Representación de un tritón, criatura mitológica que habita en los mares, con la parte superior como la de un hombre adulto, y su parte inferior en forma de cola de pez, con dos patas delanteras de caballo bajo el vientre. De las pezuñas y la cola le nacen pequeñas aletas abiertas. La figura, con el torso desnudo y musculado, con el brazo derecho elevado por encima de su hombro una bucina que se lleva a la boca. Con el izquierdo abrazo fuertemente el cuerpo sinuoso de un delfín. El torso gira hacia atrás, su derecha, mostrando tres cuartos al espectador, mientras que la cabeza, con barba de mechones prominentes y con corona de plantas marinas o corales, mira a su izquierda [Esta figura formaría parte junto con otras similares y representaciones de peces del cortejo del triunfo de Neptuno.
