Description
Italiano: Nel 1916 la collezione del Museo si è arricchita di oltre un centinaio di lucerne romane rinvenute a Cerchiara, nei pressi della Grotta “delle Ninfe” o del Mulino, antro naturale alle falde del Monte Sellaro, a nord della piana di Sibari. La presenza nella grotta di una sorgente di acqua sulfurea e l’elevato numero delle lucerne fanno pensare che possa trattarsi di un deposito votivo, durato per almeno due secoli (I-II sec. d.C.).
