Description
Español: El MUNA está ubicado a la altura del kilómetro 31 de la Antigua Panamericana Sur. Este Museo Nacional del Perú es una de las obras más emblemáticas del Estado Peruano realizada por el Ministerio de Cultura. En el año 2014, el Ministerio de Cultura lanzó el concurso de ideas arquitectónicas para el MUNA, y a partir de esta iniciativa, en el 2016 se empezó a construir el edificio. Como parte de este largo camino, el 29 de diciembre del 2020, a través del Decreto Supremo Nº 018-2020-MC, el Señor Presidente de la República, Francisco Sagasti Hochhausler, formalizó la creación del Museo Nacional del Perú, cumpliendo un largo anhelo republicano.
