Italiano: Baritina dal Monte Paderno, detta anche Pietra di Bologna, una pietra fosforescente costituita da barite tipica del Monte Paderno sui colli di Bologna. La scoperta di questa varietà nel 1602 da parte di Vincenzo Casciarolo rappresenta la prima osservazione del fenomeno della termoluminescenza. Museo di mineralogia Luigi Bombicci (Bologna) [1]
English: Baryte from Monte Paderno, also known as Pietra di Bologna, a phosphorescent variety, typical of Monte Paderno in the Bologna hills. The discovery of the Pietra di Bologna was made in 1602 by Vincenzo Casciarolo, and it represents the first observation of the thermoluminescence phenomenon. This sample is part of the Mineralogical Collection "Luigi Bombicci Museum" of the University of Bologna, in Bologna
