Description Museu Nacional do Açúcar e do Álcool, popularmente chamado de Museu da Cana. Bomba de vácuo fabricada na cidade de Lille, França, pela empresa Baudet et Boire em 1886. Na segunda metade do século 19, houve a expansão da cultura da cana para o Nordeste paulista, passando além do quadrilátero Sorocaba, Mogi Guaçu, Piracicaba e Jundiaí. Nessa marcha rumo ao Nordeste paulista, destaca-se a história do Engenho Central de Sertãozinho que funcionou por quase três quartos de século.
