| Description |
English: This was a family trip, more like a retreat after so many blows. One my brother who couldn't get pass the exam with enough results for his dream university, and second I was going through clinical depression. Our family needed this badly, so we decided to go to this newly established cottage in Dedugalla, a place we heard for the first time, though born and bred in Srilanka. It was truly breathtaking and a life changing experiences. Just experiencing such beauty and truly wonderment, gave me reasons to hope and life. If anything I want to live just so that I can experience more of such moments where my heart skips a beat when I look up from the hard climb. Whether if it's a tiring hike, or slippery rocks on the fall, or the ground infested with leeches, all of it, all of it was worth it, all the pain was worth it, because when I looked ahead I saw beauty, I saw reason to pursue on. |
