Description
English: Sailors aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Washington participate in a silent prayer during a Muslim prayer service in the ship's chapel. Muslims participate in five daily prayers, with the Dhur prayer taking place during noontime. George Washington departed from her forward-operating port of Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka in response to the complex nature of the disaster that struck Japan on March 11.
