Description Beginning the roll for take-off. My son informed me that this was a popular plane spotting spot, and many airplane aficionados come here armed with tripods and big cameras to snap planes during take off. Hmmmm. I frankly didn't think that this was a very bright idea, as photography at any airport is dicey to say the least. (I have photographed freely, with permission of course, at Luang Prabang in Laos though, but that was a one off stray instance). The presence of a police car there only reinforced my fears. No airplane photographers here today, for sure, as you can see! (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, June 2015)
