Description
English: Most of the pictures of the rock tombs in Myra are taken from the south, the side where the theatre attracts many visitors. However, "around the corner" of that same hill there is another set of tombs, that seems to be overlooked. This is one of a series of pictures taken during a walk to that side, with special attention to the "Lion's Tomb" after an archaeologist on the site told me how to reach it. High on the hill there are some fascinating tombs, but out of reach for me. I cannot give further information on any, but hope the pictures together make possible identifying what a particular picture represents.
