Description

Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Hawaii is pleased to announce the signing of the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers (IFPTE) June 13.

Commanding Officer NAVFAC Hawaii Captain Michael Williamson and Business Representative IFPTE Peter Fontanilla signed the agreement for the IFPTE (Professional) union. Also present at the signing were members of the union and management negotiation team: Darren Chun, IFPTE contract administrator, Brian Fujimoto, IFPTE steward, and Tracey Miyamoto, IFPTE steward and management negotiation team representatives Marc Wong, NAVFAC Hawaii capital improvements business line leader and Aaron Poentis environmental business line leader. The contract is for three years and it covers all professional General Scheduled bargaining unit members such as Engineers, Architects and Chemists.
