Summary edit
DescriptionNB Old US 17; Divided Highway Ends in Coosawhatchie, SC.jpg |
English: Northbound Nuna Rock Road (former US 17) just before the divided highway section in Coosawhatchie, South Carolina comes to an end. Nuna Rock Road used to be US 17 until it was relocated to an overlap with Interstate 95 between Exit 22 in Ridgeland, and Exit 33 in Point South during the 1970's. This segment however was built in 1941, evidently with expectations of the continuation of this divided segment through the two bridges over the Tullifinny River further north and beyond. Taken from a digital camera while set in video mode. |
