Description
English: Northbound Suffolk County Road 49 (Flamingo Road) at the intersection with Suffolk County Road 77 (West Lake Road) before the loop at the northwest side of the entrance to Montauk Harbor in Montauk, New York. A slightly larger stop sign can be seen on the southeast corner along with the supplemental "At Stop Line" banner underneath, along with he additional warning sign telling motorists that cross traffic doesn't stop at the intersection. What it doesn't tell motorists is that he intersection is the northern terminus of Suffolk CR 49, and continues as the northern terminus of Suffolk CR 77 before looping around the northwest corner of Montauk Harbor Inlet and then turning south along the west side of Lake Montauk, but not before returning to the north side of this intersection.
