Nederlands: Grijpstaartstekelvarken (Coendou prehensilis (Linnaeus, 1758).
Aquarel en gouache in bruintinten, grijs en zwart, pen in zwart over grafiet, geannoteerd met pen in bruine inkt.
Watermerk: narrenkap met zevenpuntige kraag.
Frans Post heeft deze tekening gemaakt tijdens zijn verblijf in Brazillië tussen 1637 - 1644.
