Summary

edit
Description NOAA's fleet of environmental satellites, along with partner satellites, captures hourly and daily imagery plus data from our planet’s surface and atmosphere. The imagery reveals useful information about Earth's weather and climate systems. To improve accessibility and total user experiences, the NOAA Geostationary Satellite Server web site (www.goes.noaa.gov) was updated in March 2015. Imagery from the Earth's Tropical Sectors, particularly during events like tropical cyclones, is available. Other regional imagery, special weather and environmental events along with "full disk" global imagery from NOAA and its partners’ satellites, like MTSAT data provided by the Japan Meteorological Agency, are still available.
