| Description |
English: My goal while filming during the eclipse was to capture the leading edge of the moon's shadow as it raced across the Earth's surface.
If you watch closely from 2:00 - 2:15 you can see the faintest of dimming flash on the screen and the mercury vapor light will turn on at the farm's garage in the frame at the same time. At the time, I hadn't noticed any movement. Even on the first viewing of this video, I hadn't noticed the movement. But, on the second viewing I did notice the moon's shadow subtle movement. At the end of the video, I had my camera (Nikon Coolpix 10mp w/ 3x zoom) fully zoomed and you can just make out the black disc of the moon. I abruptly end the video, because I wanted to watch with my naked eyes. |
