  • Significance: The Edgar Fripp Mausoleum is an outstanding example of mid-19th century gravestone art and architecture and reflects the social status of the deceased. Built of stone in the Egyptian Revival style, this 7 foot tall, 6 foot wide, and 7 foot deep structure has Egyptian columns in antis. The entrance is bricked. The Edgar Fripp Mausoleum was nominated to the National Register of Historic Places at the South Carolina State Board of Review on February 27, 1988.
