Notes
  • Significance: This representative, well-proportioned Classical Revival meeting house has been a central building in the religious and social life of its community for 135 years. The Old Brick Meeting House, fifth in the series of Deerfield meetinghouses, was erected in 1824, and remains substantially unaltered. The interior is finely proportioned and crowned by a low dome. The tower forms a landmark in the village and the valley. This church is now occupied by a united congregation of Unitarians and Congregationalists.
