Description

Nearly 140 children participated in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) education activities at the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day on April 28, 2016. The event included a musical science show, presentations on what NSF does and the importance of science, live talks with researchers in Antarctica, a Hands-On Science Fair with lots of experiments, and the opportunity to contribute to actual research through zooniverse.org, a citizen science website. Pictured above, youngsters pay close attention to Grand Master Hank who kicked off the day with his exciting musical science show.
