Description
Deutsch: Das Naturschutzgebiet Limburg gehört zu den größten Streuobstgebieten Europas. Dieses erstreckt sich durch ganz Baden-Württemberg entlang des Albtraufs der Schwäbischen Alb. Rund um den Limburg wird die historische Kulturlandschaft der Streuobstwiesen heute noch gelebt. Der Limburg und Umgebung ist daher nicht nur als Naturschutzgebiet ausgewiesen sondern auch Teil des FFH-Gebiets Neidlinger Alb und Teil des Biosphärengebiets Schwäbischer Alb.
