Description In honor of the World War II African-American military pilots and support personnel who made up the famed flight-training program at Tuskegee Army Air Field, on March 23, 2012, MTA New York City Transit renamed the 100th Street Bus Depot as The Tuskegee Airmen Bus Depot. Howard Roberts, former President of MTA New York City Transit, who was instrumental in the renaming of the depot, delivered remarks at the ceremony.
