Description
English: Looking south at the grassy median between the two directions of Conduit Avenue, at North Conduit Avenue, Lafayette Street, and 149th Avenue in Ozone Park, Queens. The wide right-of-way was originally the site of the Brooklyn Water Works' Ridgewood Aqueduct. It was later intended for the Nassau Expressway / Bushwick Expressway between the Williamsburg Bridge and JFK Airport, which was never built. On the other side of the median is Lindenwood, part of Howard Beach.
