| Description |
English: North facade of the Tudor Arms Hotel at 10660 Carnegie Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States.
The structure was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 28, 2008. Built by the Cleveland Club and finished in 1933, it was designed in the Gothic Revial style by architect Frank Meade. The club vacated the building in 1939, converting it to a luxury hotel. The hotel was sold jointly to Western Reserve University and the Case Institute of Technology in 1960, and turned into graduate student housing. In the early 1970s, Case Western Reserve University leased the building to the Cleveland Job Corps, which used it as a dormitory for its trainees. It sold again in 2011, was converted back to a true hotel, it opened about 2013 as the Tudor Arms Doubletree. |
