English: The image above is from a folder of original artworks produced for Samoan school publications. The first 2 readers for Samoan schools were printed in 1948. These were followed by publications relating to other Pacific Island nations.

This record series (782), and series 6009, appear to comprise of artworks mainly for these publications. They were transferred to Archives New Zealand from the Department of Education.
