Summary

Description	An overview of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ dry bypass project in downtown Napa, California, shown Sept. 24, 2014. The bypass will remain dry most of the time, but it’s estimated the bypass will be necessary to help reduce the risk of flooding during storm events every 2-5 years. Construction of the bypass is the latest Corps project to reduce the risk of flooding in Napa, and is scheduled for completion in summer 2015. (U.S. Army photo by Tyler Stalker/Released)
