English: KADENA AIR BASE, Japan -- Maj. (Dr.) Nathan Cecava, a flight surgeon with the 353rd Operations Support Squadron, attaches a simulated open fracture to Airman 1st Class Kevin Christensen, a 353rd OSS aircrew flight equipment specialist, during a training exercise here Dec. 2. Airman Christensen played one of four survivors of a simulated aircraft accident. Pararescuemen and combat controllers from the 320th STS jumped from a MC-130H Combat Talon II to search for, and recover, the survivors. The event was part of a 353rd Special Operations Group training exercise testing the group?s ability to conduct search and rescue operations from start to finish. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt.
