September 19, 2012

English: IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen Benny Gantz and Former Chief Artillery Officer from the Yom Kippur War, Nati Sharoni, brief soldiers during the surprise drill in the Golan Heights. The drill carried on for one full day with its primary focus on preparing the artillery forces. The purpose of the drill was to simulate a possbile combat scenario and to test the military's preparedness for an escalation on the northern front.
