Summary
editDescriptionNational Garden Festival, Ebbw Vale - geograph.org.uk - 920769.jpg |
English: National Garden Festival, Ebbw Vale There was a string of these in the 1980s and early 1990s. I think Ebbw Vale was the last. Liverpool was the first (I think). I went to Stoke-on-Trent and Gateshead but think I missed one somewhere.
This photo was taken from an elevated viewing platform that was something like 200' up. This end of the site has fared less well although the big circle in the foreground survives. The steelworks in the distance has gone and there is a lot of new development in the middle distance. |
