Description

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOver a dozen hard-working volunteers did great work to improve the native plant interpretive garden at the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center in honor of National Public Lands Day, Sept. 27, 2014.

Despite the cold, windy weather, volunteers pulled weeds, thinned brush, and added gravel and new signs to the trails.

Thanks to those who worked for the public lands, and to Trail Tenders who provided the grilled burgers for lunch!
