Die Zugehörigkeit des Eiterbachtals scheint strittig zu sein, einerseits gehört der Ort Eiterbach, nach dem das Tal benannt ist, zum baden-württembergischen Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, andererseits gehört der auf der Tafel erwähnte Ort Wald-Michelbach zu Hessen
