"My raft is my friend; I will not let go of my raft." Probably about this point these SEAL candidates didn't really think that their raft was their friend; rather, it was probably viewed as an instrument of pain. According to the Navy, SEALs are qualified in diving, parachuting, and are experts at combat swimming, navigation, demolitions, weapons, and many other skills. In addition to the maritime environment, SEALs also train in the desert, the jungle, in cold weather, and in urban surroundings. |
