Description
English: Line drawing of a uniform jacket of the Waffen-SS, a military organization of Nazi Germany during World War II, showing where to place insignia, badges, military orders, decorations, awards and medals.
  • SS uniforms used a variety of insignia, the most standard of which were collar patches, to denote rank, and shoulder knots (which acted as shoulder boards), to denote both rank and position, along with sleeve cuff titles and "sleeve diamond" patches, to indicate membership in specific branches of the SS.
  • Note: Ribbons are worn in line with the second button. If they cannot be worn in line with the second button, place above the pocket.
  • Note: The highest award worn on the wearer's left breast pocket is centered on the pocket. Lesser awards are worn on the bottom of the pocket with the highest towards the wearer's right.
Uncredited/unidentified artist; No copyright markings, copyright free design of garment and insignia, no known copyright restrictions.
