English: Near West Muircambus. Taken from near West Muircambus looking SW towards Largo Bay from the old railway line between Leven and Elie. I suspect that there was a loading yard, sidings or a passing place here at one time as the trackbed expands from a single line to a much wider width. The shot shows the very sandy nature of the soil here and how it is very prone to drifting in dry conditions. |
