A Blade newspaper clipping published in 8-12-56. The original photo is the drill team in front of Nebraska School in the spring of 1914. Members of the drill team were John Wyatt, with flag; left to right, first row: Carl Diefenbach, Howard Orns, Louis Kaufman, and Harry Osnowitz. Second row: Alvin Vick, Arthur Brinkman, Harold Stickley, and Harry Schultz. Third row: Lou Klewer, Carl Pollex, Hoard Sipe, and Rusty Humphrey. Fourth row Phillip Weiss, George Ganss, Louis Sover, and Robert Ahrendt. Fifth row: unidentified, Walter Bunge, William Gable, and unidentified. The rear row: unidentified, Clarence Heininger, Walter Baker, and Walter Schwartz. Drillmaster, standing at the side of the group, was Carl Hiltman. A teacher, Jeannette Claflin, is standing in the background of the photo.
