Description
Català: Sobre el personatge:
  • Emilio Luna va nàixer a Alginet el 16 de gener de 1911, i va morir al front el 9 de juliol de 1937, quan defensava Madrid al cerro de Garabitas (Casa de Campo). S'havia incorporat a un batalló de metralladores -21a brigada-, després d'haver obtingut el grau de tinent a l'Escola Militar de Madrid. Actualment, i des del 1984, un centre educatiu d'Alginet porta el seu nom.

Sobre el soterrar d'Emilio Luna, l'Arxiu Ismael Latorre Mendoza (AILM-PV) va publicar fotografies en:

  • Alginet Butlletí Informatiu, número 34; direcció: Jesús Boluda. Edita Ajuntament d'Alginet, Abril-Maig-Juny 1984. Dipòsit Legal V. 3087-76.
