Description The most beautiful little moth I have ever seen, photographed on a nettle near Martlesham Recreation Ground (VC25 East Suffolk, TM252473) on 23 June 2015. ID confirmed by Tony Prichard, the Suffolk Moth Recorder. This species is officially listed as being of principal importance for the purpose of conserving UK biodiversity. The larval foodplant of this moth is Black Horehound (Ballota nigra).
