Summary edit

Description
English: Line art of 1 Nephi 15. This is an illustration accompanying Genet Bingham Dee's "Nephi's Vision" in The Children's Friend 24, no. 4 (April 1925): 154–156. The scene is an encampment of tents, with a river running in a background. Standing near the tents are four figures. One faces away from the viewer, a quiver of arrows visible on his back, a hat on his head of curly hair that goes to his shoulders (this is probably Sam). With their faces visible to the audience are three figures. One, standing on the furthest right, is slender of frame, with curly hair, a hat, a tunic that goes to about his knees, and sandals. He gestures toward the other two with his left hand and is apparently speaking to them. This one is Nephi. The other two resemble each other; they have hair of a similar length though it's visible thicker, along with goattee-like beards. They also wear hats similar to the other two, and they wear tunics, though theirs go all the way to their shins. They wear sandals as well, but over their tunics they have long dark shawls. These two are Laman and Lemuel. (I have ascertained the visual identity of Laman, Lemuel, and Nephi based on looking at artwork in other editions of the 1925 Children's Friend, as every month there was another illustration from the Book of Mormon by H. W., and he gives Nephi, Laman, and Lemuel consistent looks.) Strewn about the ground are pots and apparent cookware. In the lower left corner in lettering is "NEPHI TELLING HIS BROTHERS ABOUT HIS VISION".
