Description
English: Amongst the greenery of the Channel Gardens are six fountainhead sculptures gushing broad streams of water. The large female fountainheads are the gentle mermaids Nereids, mythological daughters of the benevolent sea god Nereus. The sculptures are by Rene Paul Chambellan.
