Deutsch: Vorderseite: IMP NERO CLAVD CAESAR AVG GER P M TR P P P. Kopf des Nero mit Lorbeerkranz nach r., am Halsansatz eine Aegis.
Rückseite: ROMA. Roma auf Waffenhaufen nach l. sitzend. Im l. Arm ein Speer, auf der r. Hand Victoria nach r. Der r. Fuß ist auf einen Helm gestützt. Beiderseits S - C. Kommentar: Legende laut RIC I² S. 156 ab 66 n. Chr. in Gebrauch. - Das Exemplar gehört zwar nicht zu den Medaillonen, die nie ein S C tragen, weist aber einen besonders großen und schweren Schrötling auf. Deshalb wurde es von Dressel (1973) in den Anhang aufgenommen. - Breiter, profilierter Rand. Oben und unten gelocht. Im oberen Loch steckt noch der Rest eines eisernen Stiftes. Möglicherweise war das Medaillon an einem Möbel angebracht, später wurde es an einem anderen Objekt aufgenagelt, so Dressel (1973) 422. Literatur: H.
