Description
Svenska: Porträtt av Nespellina och Dondon på en guldkantad hyende i blått. Avporträtterade av David Klöcker Ehrenstrahl (1628-1698).

Hundarna är av rasen Kontinentaler zwerspaniel Phalène och de tillhörde riksänkedrottningen Hedvig Eleonora. Dondon skänktes senare till svägerskan prinsessan Maria Euphrosyne, gift med greve Magnus Gabriel De la Gardie.

Sannolikt är det om Nespellina (Espelina) som Eric Lindschöld har skrivit en liten avskedsdikt, "Epitaphium öfver h. m:t enkedrottningens hund Epelin som ligger begrafven i trädgården på Ulriksdahl".

Jämför med målning i samlingarna på Nationalmuseum (NMGrh 834) samt i samlingarna på Drottningholm. Olja på duk, 63,5 x 76 cm.
