Description
English: Nesseby nature reserve is a nature reserve outside the village Nesseby in Nesseby municipality in Finnmark. The nature reserve includes Løkholmen, the tidal bay within and the headland south of Nesseby church. It has a total area of 753 decares, of which 660 decares are sea. The nature reserve was established in 1991 to preserve an important resting area for wetland birds. At low tide, large mud banks that are rich in molluscs that feed waders such as sandpipers, snipes, and ducks.
