Description
Deutsch: Bildseite mit der laufenden Nummer 8 aus der ab 1907 von der Neuen Photographischen Gesellschaft AG, Berlin-Steglitz vertriebenen Stereoskopie-Kartenserie Hannover. Der noch unidentifizierte Fotograf stand hier seitlich der Aegidienkirche und fotografierte das Gebäude der Alten Kanzlei mit seinem mittelalterlichen Treppengiebel an der Ecke Osterstraße und weiter durch die Breite Straße in Richtung Aegidientorplatz, an dessen Ecke zur Marienstraße offensichtlich gerade ein Bauplatz noch unbebaut ist. Im Vordergrund ist links ein bäuerlicher Stand zu sehen, der unter einer Plane seine Produkte feilbietet, während die Alte Kanzlei bereits von dem Kaffeeröster Ernst Grote genutzt wird. An der Straßenecke kommt eine Pferdestraßenbahn aus der Breiten Straße. Während die Laternen am Straßenrand sicher noch mit Gas betrieben wurden, kündet die über der Straße hängende elektrische Beleuchtung vom Beginn eines neuen technischen Zeitalters ... Diese Karte wurde freundlicherweise von Ilse Paul zur Verfügung gestellt, um sie als Digitalisat über Wikimedia Commons nachhaltig allen Menschen zur Verfügung zu stellen ...
