Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre (Indre)

La Collégiale Saint-Etienne. Le clocher.

Le clocher actuel date du XXe siècle.


En 1899, l'ancien clocher en charpente situé au-dessus de la travée centrale de la nef et composé d’une flèche à huit pans sur un soubassement carré, est démoli.

En 1923, un nouveau clocher, de type "clocher-mur", est construit entre la nef et la rotonde par l’architecte Mayeux.
