English: New A14 road towards Stowmarket This is the recently opened section of A14 that omits the accident prone junctions at the Haughley Bends. To the left of the eastbound slip road new earthworks hide the course of the old road, which still serves western Stowmarket, a garage and a cafe. Stowmarket is hidden in a valley at the horizon.
Is planting trees next to a road with no crash barrier a sensible idea? |
