Description
English: New Enterprise Coaches bus 264 (reg. H264 GEV), a 1990 Leyland Olympian with ECW bodywork, pictured at Showbus 2010. It was new to Southend Transport as their 264, one of the last four buses (H262 GEV to H265 GEV) purchased by the company while still council owned. When it was absorbed into Arriva, 264 become Arriva Southend 5404. In August 2009, 5404 and 5405 were transferred to Arriva Southern Counties sister company New Enterprise Coaches of Tonbridge for schools work, joined by 5403 in November. For some reason it never received a proper livery, just this anonymous cream with fleetnumber 264. By April 2011 it has been sold to nearby Hamilton's Coaches of Pembury, Tunbridge Wells, who kept it in the same livery with the same fleetnumber, but added the name "Matilda" to the front.
