Description

Not many days old - mother bringing the new one to meet me. I watched the horses for over 40 minutes, and they watched me. Finally several of them together came up to the fence where I was standing.

I shot this with the Lensbaby Composer Pro/Double Glass Optic. For those who do not understand quite how the lensbaby works: the lensbaby is an attachment that can take several different optics.The lensbaby can be bent towards either side, and up or down and diagonally. This bending creates the typical blur recognizable in lensbaby images. Focus is done manually. This was shot wide-open for a softer look.

Double glass specs are as follows: 50mm focal, multi-coated optical glass doublet, selective focus optic, f/2.8-22 magnetic apertures, focus Type: manual, Size/Weight: 2.25” (5.71cm) high x 2.5” (6.35cm) wide / 4 oz (113.4g), tilts from zero to 17.5 degrees. There is no electronic communication between the lens and the camera body.

Processed in Lightroom, CS5 and Silver Efex. Thanks for looking.
