editDescriptionNew Laithe ruins in Scar House Reservoir Nidderdale - geograph.org.uk - 1122659.jpg |
English: New Laithe ruins in Scar House Reservoir, Nidderdale. Took photo in August 1995 during drought. Ruin normally completely submerged in reservoir. Using old map showing area before the reservoir built and a new map, carefully attempted to be as accurate as possible without surveying equipment or GPS, to obtain a GR. Distant centre hill is Little Whernside. The distant green patch is trees at ruined hamlet of Lodge. |
