English: New S&C at Bridges Junction New pointwork at the former Bridges Junction; originally Bridges Junction was the site where the Hull & Barnsley Railway's mainline to Alexander Docks joined the joint line to King George Dock. The connection to Alexander Docks is now long gone but the new S&C shown here is part of £9 million worth of enhancements to nearly treble the capacity of the line for imported coal through King George Docks.
